Web Developer - Newport Beach, CA
KWALL is seeking an experienced PHP developer to join our team immediately. We build complex websites and applications for large corporations such as PayPal, Ebay, ABC, etc.
As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for team based development of websites and web applications. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of PHP, Shell, HTML, and CSS to build websites and web applications that are cross browser compliant.
Position is on-site, no telecommuting or contracts available.
Responsibilities Include:
- Work with Sr. Web Developers on all development related activities
- Develop, test and maintain website pages and systems.
- Develop and deploy leading edge systems
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA / BS 4 year university
- 1+ Yrs XHTML/CSS experience
- Understanding of LAMP
- Javascript and jQuery knowledge
- 2+ Yrs PHP programming
- Understanding of CMS (e.g. Drupal and Wordpress)
- Strong desire to learn and progress
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills
Ideal Qualifications:
- Linux Shell experience
- Version control comfort
- Drupal experience
- SEO & SEM knowledge
- Understanding of Google Analytics
Qualifications:
- BA/BS from accredited four-year university or equivalent experience
- Ability to handle a demanding work environment, deadlines and new challenges
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
