23 campuses. 4,100 degrees. One website solution.
The numbers at California State University are impressive: over 460,000 students, 24,000 faculty, and 23,000 staff spread over 23 campuses around the state. It’s the largest four-year public system in the United States. The huge task of managing and supporting this complex enterprise resides with the Chancellor’s Office. And they had a problem, a big problem: the old, antiquated system that housed all of the information about the university’s degrees just wasn’t cutting it anymore.
Enter KWALL. As a trusted partner for 9 of the university’s campuses, CSU was confident that we had the experience, technology and team to give them what they needed: a new system for the critical information their students rely on. The results have been nothing less than outstanding. The new site is highly structured, with a clean interface that’s easy to use, auto predictive text and autocorrect that makes searching the 4,100 undergraduate and graduate degrees a snap. It was built on the open-source, Drupal platform. And because it’s integrated with PeopleSoft, the central system where all degree information lives, data is seamlessly updated for impact across the entire enterprise.
