- Professional design
- Component-based editing
- Adjustable Pattern Library
- Multi-reference content
A deep dive into the purpose and benefits associated with the program helped lead to defining our goals and keep us focused. Looking at what information those who want to get involved needed and show the importance and impact of the scholarship program were key from our findings.
We were challenged to create designs that spoke to both the Oxy brand and the sophistication of a United States President. With a quick turnaround time, we quickly created a simple content structure and easy to digest information.
A small number of designs were created with a library of components and patterns were developed to drive the page creation process. This library of components creates flexibility for editors to publish pages quickly and consistent from one page to another.
With a simplified design and professional feel, we created a single column for text which would allow for images and other media to break outside of those constraints. This gave the overall feel of the website a more prestigious appearance and help pop the images off the page.
A dark slide in the menu was built to simplify the navigation and present all the information in a single panel. The search functionality is also available to make it a one-stop element for all you need.
Quotes and inspirational stories help to validate the importance of the content. With a wide array of stories, we captured those in a rotating carousel to showcase as many as we could without overwhelming the user.
