How we use AI. Plainly stated, no marketing veneer.

KWALL builds AI services for clients and uses AI internally to do better work. This page is what we’ll show your procurement team, your communications director, or your board when they ask exactly how AI shows up in our engagements.

1. AI in client engagements

When the engagement explicitly covers AI work (RAG systems, agent design, AI integrations, content classification, GEO), we use third-party LLM providers (currently OpenAI and Anthropic) under enterprise agreements that prohibit training on your data. Specific model selection, region, and retention terms are documented in the SOW.

For non-AI engagements (standard web builds, CMS migrations, design system work), we may use AI tools internally to accelerate code review, generate test fixtures, or draft documentation. These tools never receive your production data or unreleased proprietary content unless your SOW explicitly authorizes it.

2. AI in our own content

The marketing copy on kwallcompany.com is written and edited by humans on our team. We occasionally use AI tools to suggest alternate phrasings or check accessibility of language; the published wording reflects an editorial decision by a human KWALL staff member.

Field notes (blog posts) are authored by named contributors. Any post substantially generated or assisted by AI carries a visible disclosure at the top of the article.

3. AI in hiring and team operations

We do not use AI to screen, score, or rank candidate applications. Resumes and cover letters are reviewed by humans. We may use AI to summarize internal meeting notes (with attendee consent) and to draft project documentation.

4. Synthetic media disclosure

Any image, video, or audio on our site or in client deliverables that is materially generated or modified by AI is disclosed in the alt text or caption. We track this with our project management tooling so it remains auditable.

5. Your right to opt out of AI workflows

For ongoing engagements, you may instruct us in writing that no AI tools be used in connection with your project. We will honor that scope-of-use restriction across our team. Email privacy@kwallcompany.com with the restriction.

6. Updates to this disclosure

We revisit this disclosure quarterly or whenever we add a new AI tool to the production stack, whichever comes first. Material changes are dated above and announced in our Field Notes.
