02 · BUILD

Custom AI Platforms

Chatbots that don’t hallucinate, RAG systems grounded in your content, agentic workflows.

03 · INTEGRATE

AI Integration

Plug practical AI into the tools you already run: Drupal, WordPress, HubSpot, Salesforce.

THE QUIET PART

We’ll tell you when AI isn’t the answer.

Half the AI work we do is talking clients out of bad AI ideas. Information architecture, taxonomy, and good old-fashioned editing solve more problems than people think. We’d rather lose the AI fee than ship you a chatbot that embarrasses your brand.

04 · DISCOVERY

AI-Ready Content (GEO)

llms.txt, schema, semantic content models, and the editorial guidelines that make your site quotable by ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google’s AI Overviews.

RECENT · BROWARD COLLEGE

87%

of inbound admissions questions answered without a human, by a RAG system grounded entirely in Broward’s catalog and financial-aid docs. It has never made up a deadline. We’re proudest of that part.

What clients say in writing

KWALL did an excellent job and had an intuitive knowledge of our project that built on attributes of similar websites that we admired. KWALL’s work was quick and thorough, and everyone at KWALL was easy to work with and friendly.

FAQ

Questions worth asking.

What’s a RAG system and does my institution actually need one?

RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) is an architecture where an AI model answers questions by retrieving content from your own documents or CMS first, rather than relying on its general training data. It’s the right approach when you need an AI assistant that gives answers grounded in your specific policies, catalog, or content, not hallucinated general knowledge. Whether you need one depends on your use case; we’ll tell you honestly if it’s overkill.

How do you handle data governance and FERPA compliance in AI projects?

We design data boundaries into the architecture from the start: what data sources the AI can access, how queries are logged, how PII is handled, and what the retention policy is. For higher-ed clients, FERPA compliance is a first-class requirement, not an afterthought. We review data handling practices with your legal or compliance office before any system goes to production.

What does GEO strategy mean and why does it matter for my site?

Generative Engine Optimization is the practice of structuring your content so that AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews cite your site when answering questions in your domain. It involves structured data markup, citation-ready content formats, authoritative page structure, and entity clarity. Institutions that invest in GEO now are establishing citation authority before the space consolidates.

Do you work with OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source models?

All three. We match the model to the use case, budget, and data governance requirements. OpenAI and Anthropic for most production applications; open-source models (Llama variants, Mistral) for clients with strict data residency requirements who can’t send data to third-party APIs.

What does an AI integration with our CMS actually look like in practice?

Common implementations include AI-assisted content drafting tools built into the editorial interface, chatbots trained on your site content for prospective student or citizen Q&A, and automated content tagging or classification. We scope each integration against your existing CMS architecture, Drupal or WordPress, and your team’s technical capacity to maintain it afterward.

How do we know if AI is actually the right solution for what we’re trying to do?

We start every AI engagement with a discovery conversation before proposing a build. If the problem you’re solving can be addressed with better search, smarter content strategy, or a simpler automation, we’ll tell you. We’ve passed on AI work when it wasn’t the right answer. That’s part of why clients trust us with the projects where it is.

On the work beneath the work

Our work with KWALL isn’t just a CMS change. It’s been a capability change: components, accessible markup, and authoring that delivers quality by default.
