Scope is reviewed at every quarter boundary. If your situation changes significantly, we adjust the program rather than let it drift out of alignment. The quarterly cadence exists precisely so the program stays relevant.

Custom programs are priced on what’s in them, same as standard programs. Some are bundled combinations at a reduced combined rate; others are narrower than any standard offering. No markup for bespoke.

What does it actually mean to ‘design a custom program’? What’s the process?
We start with a conversation about your team’s rhythm, budget cycle, primary pain points, and what success looks like a year from now. From that we draft a program scope, disciplines, cadence, deliverables, quarterly review format, and iterate until it fits. It usually takes two or three conversations to get to something we’re both confident in.
Is a custom program more expensive than a standard program?
Not necessarily. Pricing is scoped based on what’s in the program. Some custom programs are combinations of two standard programs at a bundled rate; others are narrower than any standard offering. We quote based on scope, not on a premium for the ‘custom’ label.
What if our needs change significantly after we’ve agreed on a program shape?
Programs are reviewed quarterly and the scope can be adjusted at each quarter boundary. If your situation changes significantly mid-quarter, we can have a scope conversation early. The quarterly cadence exists precisely so the program stays relevant as your needs evolve.
Can a custom program include disciplines from multiple standard programs?
Yes, and that’s the most common reason clients request a custom program. You might need the maintenance coverage of Platform Maintenance, the design cadence of Continuous Redesign, and content support, but at a smaller scale than three separate programs would imply. We size it to fit.
Do custom programs still have the ‘cancel any quarter’ flexibility?
Yes. All KWALL programs, including custom ones, run on a quarterly billing cycle with no multi-year commitments. You can exit at the end of any quarter with standard notice.
